221 Hagley Road, Oldswinford, Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY8 2JR Mary Stevens Hospice only receives 17% of their funding from central government. The majority of hospices were established from charitable and philanthropic donations and are primarily charity-funded and independently run. No one wants to have hospice treatment but when its needed these sanctuaries are like no place on earth. My sister had a painful and distressing 11 days in Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, something she was adamant not to repeat.
